Essential Functions
- Facilitate behavior programs based on ABA principles
- Conduct assessments and experimental functional analyses
- Provide parent education and deliver intervention activities
- Support center-based and home-based services and operations
- Manage and evaluate the performance of associates in assigned region
- Attend staff meetings and lead training sessions
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes
- Participate in conferences and trainings to stay updated on industry developments
- Assist families, community agencies, and other professionals
- Supervise associates for at least 2 hours per week
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in ABA or related field
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, held for at least 1 year
- CPR certification
- Crisis Management Training (Intermediate and Advanced)
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience working with individuals with ASD in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- 1-3 years supervisory experience, particularly in managing severe behavior problems
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Expert knowledge of ABA methodologies and current research findings
- Strong competency in conducting behavioral assessments and implementing intervention plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and customer service orientation
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Physical Requirements
- Carrying/lifting: occasional up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs
- Standing: occasional up to 3 hours per day
- Sitting: constant up to 8 hours per day
- Walking: occasional up to 3 hours per day
- Repetitive motion/activity: keyboard activity, telephone use, writing
- Visual acuity: ability to view computer monitor and read newsprint
- Travel: up to 50% of time
- Environmental exposure: regular exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions
