BCBA Clinical Supervisor 1, Severe Behavior Services

Essential Functions

• Facilitate behavior programs based on ABA principles
• Conduct assessments and experimental functional analyses
• Provide parent education and deliver intervention activities
• Support center-based and home-based services and operations
• Manage and evaluate the performance of associates in assigned region
• Attend staff meetings and lead training sessions
• Oversee recruitment and selection processes
• Participate in conferences and trainings to stay updated on industry developments
• Assist families, community agencies, and other professionals
• Supervise associates for at least 2 hours per week

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field
• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, held for at least 1 year
• CPR certification
• Crisis Management Training (Intermediate and Advanced)

Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience working with individuals with ASD in a multi-disciplinary team setting
• 1-3 years supervisory experience, particularly in managing severe behavior problems

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Expert knowledge of ABA methodologies and current research findings
• Strong competency in conducting behavioral assessments and implementing intervention plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and customer service orientation
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Physical Requirements

• Carrying/lifting: occasional up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs
• Standing: occasional up to 3 hours per day
• Sitting: constant up to 8 hours per day
• Walking: occasional up to 3 hours per day
• Repetitive motion/activity: keyboard activity, telephone use, writing
• Visual acuity: ability to view computer monitor and read newsprint
• Travel: up to 50% of time
• Environmental exposure: regular exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions
