About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The role requires a strong foundation in behavior analysis and a commitment to improving quality of life through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on functional behavioral assessments.
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism and related disorders, including teaching new skills and modifying environments to reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Document progress and outcomes in accordance with professional standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
