BCBA/Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in ABA or related field (Psychology, Education, or Special Education).
• Board Certified Behavioral Analyst/senior BCBA.
• Obtain and maintain Safety Care Specialist Status.
• Minimum 1-year experience as a BCBA.
• Demonstrate a passion for working with children with ASD and support for their families.
• Possess strong leadership skills including excellent communication, motivator, and self-starter.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• A passion to create change in a child's life.
• Able to work with challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Develop research-based and individualized behavior analytical programming for children with autism.
• Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Create and oversee treatment plans and behavior management protocols.
• Lead a team of BT/RBTs giving training, instruction, and guidance on ABA therapy.
• Review data and program effectiveness, make treatment modifications, and graph/monitor progress.
• Meet regularly with parents and incorporate the client’s progress into parent training sessions.
