Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in ABA or related field (Psychology, Education, or Special Education).
- Board Certified Behavioral Analyst/senior BCBA.
- Obtain and maintain Safety Care Specialist Status.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a BCBA.
- Demonstrate a passion for working with children with ASD and support for their families.
- Possess strong leadership skills including excellent communication, motivator, and self-starter.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
- A passion to create change in a child's life.
- Able to work with challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Develop research-based and individualized behavior analytical programming for children with autism.
- Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports.
- Create and oversee treatment plans and behavior management protocols.
- Lead a team of BT/RBTs giving training, instruction, and guidance on ABA therapy.
- Review data and program effectiveness, make treatment modifications, and graph/monitor progress.
- Meet regularly with parents and incorporate the client’s progress into parent training sessions.
