BC/BE Head and Neck Surgeon (Maxillofacial or ENT)
About the role
The Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Head and Neck Surgeon (Maxillofacial or ENT) to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have both medical and dental degrees, along with fellowship training in ablative head/neck surgery. The scope of practice can include TORS, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, and laryngeal surgery.
Responsibilities
- Perform craniomaxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery at a regional level II trauma center
- Treatment of head and neck oncology cases
- Microvascular reconstruction procedures
- Wound care center services
Requirements
Desirable experience in managing facial trauma and secondary reconstruction. Microvascular surgery training is beneficial but not mandatory as the practice includes two microvascular surgeons.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Dental degree (D.D.S. or D.M.D.)
- Fellowship training in ablative head/neck surgery
- BC/BE certification in Head and Neck Surgery
