Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services in a community hospital setting with a diverse case mix and no trauma responsibilities. Cases include general surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, spine, plastics, urology, low‑volume obstetrics (rare high‑risk cases), and extremely rare healthy pediatric cases. A strong regional anesthesia program is central to the practice, supporting ERAS and joint‑replacement pathways using state‑of‑the‑art ultrasound technology.

Requirements

BC/BE anesthesiologists; graduating residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Skills

• Expertise in regional anesthesia and ultrasound‑guided techniques
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaborative practice skills
• Ability to manage a varied surgical case load

Pay

Lucrative compensation package including a $100 K signing bonus (SDB).

Schedule

• Equitable distribution of vacation weeks, holiday assignments, and call responsibilities from day one – no seniority‑based scheduling advantages
• Benign call structure: ≈ 3 first/second calls per month, shifts begin in the late afternoon, post‑call day off after each call
• Staggered CRNA coverage to minimize late days and promote work‑life balance
