As a Chapter Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teens in smaller Jewish communities across the Pacific Northwest. Your responsibilities include:

  • Build relationships and maintain communication with members, parents, and community partners.
  • Participate as a member of the regional team to bring innovative ideas and best practices to the community.
  • Participate in monthly professional development with fellow Chapter Specialists.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Success in this role is measured by consistent improvement in chapter health and engagement outcomes. As a Chapter Specialist, you will partner with teen leaders to build strong, sustainable chapters by tracking and improving key metrics, including:

  • Total new members recruited
  • Engagement: % of inactive members (0 events attended in the current year)
  • % of very involved teens (3+ events, overnight experiences, and/or participation in immersive experiences such as summer programs or International Convention)
  • Leadership Development: Number of teens in the core leadership pipeline (holding chapter leadership roles and/or participating in CLTC, ILTC, Kallah, ILSI, or similar programs)
  • Upperclassmen Engagement: % of juniors and seniors attending at least one event
  • Spring L’dor V’dor Convention: CLTC attendance and overall immersive experience participation

To drive these outcomes, use data to coach teen leaders on goal setting and chapter strategy, identify gaps in engagement and implement targeted outreach plans, strengthen recruitment, retention, and leadership pipelines, and build sustainable chapters with consistent participation across grade levels.
