About the role

The Lodge at Rocky Mount is seeking a Staff Nurse to join their team of dedicated health care professionals. The ideal candidate must have an unrestricted RN or LPN license and be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, rotating shifts of 24 hours with compensation for 30 hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff.
• Carefully coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
• Accurately administer and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents, notifying physicians of any changes and promptly implementing and documenting new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessments, implementing necessary nursing interventions to stabilize a resident's condition and prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a care plan.

Requirements
