BattleCreek Central Internship

The Role

The BattleCreek Central Internship is designed for young adults who are passionate about ministry and eager to gain valuable experience while developing their leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on ministry experience
• Participate in staff training events
• Engage in book discussions
• Work in a team environment that encourages overall growth
• Develop spiritually, personally, and professionally
• Choose an area of interest from: HR, Creative, Communication, Production, Facilities, IT, Outreach, Young Adults, Haven, NextGen Central, Internship Team

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ready to gain valuable ministry experience
• Passionate about ministry
• Willing to develop leadership skills
• Have a sense of humor and be ready to make an impact on the kingdom

Qualifications

• Strong desire to serve in ministry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in one of the listed areas of interest

Pay and Schedule

• Full-time Interns are paid hourly
• Position typically pays $15 per hour
• Interns must have their own vehicle and cell phone
• Interns must agree and adhere to BattleCreek Church's internal and external core values, code of conduct, and consent to a background check
• Interns must be aged 18+ for the full-time internship

Schedule

• Full-time Internship start dates: September 14, 2026 (Application deadline: July 12, 2026) and March 2027 (Application Deadline: January 10, 2027)
• Internships are 6 months long and are full-time (40 hours a week)
