The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Plant Quality Manager, Embedded Systems Software Engineer, Sr Sustaining Engineer, Battery Design & Architecture, Cross Functional Remanufacturing Technician, Safety Specialist II, and Senior BMS Cell Algorithm Design Engineer roles are all based in Greer, SC.
Responsibilities
- Ensure supplier base quality and reliability for EV battery module production
- Own supplier development strategy and resolve complex quality issues
- Interface with Proterra Powered and manufacturing partners across various components
- Owning plant quality end-to-end, including strategy, execution, and results
- Drive culture of continuous improvement, build high-performing quality teams
- Engage on the production floor to identify defects, drive root cause resolution
- Sustain and improve production BMS software through diagnostics implementation, calibration
- Implement design changes following ECO and CRB/CCB processes
- Develop and document repair procedures, improve processes, maintain safety and 5S standards
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions, collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Develop, implement, and sustain health and safety programs
- Define, design, and test battery pack power electronics controls features and functions
- Drive cell algorithm controls design, cell limits on embedded subsystem architecture
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, thermal, vibration, structural, and manufacturability requirements
