  • Salary: $6,882.00 - $8,930.00 (New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable)

Special requirements

  • Medical Clearance required prior to being hired
  • Incumbent is required to wear respiratory protection equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Must be annually medically cleared to be fit-tested for respiratory protection equipment. Clearance includes comprehensive medical evaluation including review of medical history, complete physical examination, and vision, hearing, spirometry, and exercise treadmill test
  • Possession of a valid driver's license of the appropriate class issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles required prior to appointment
  • Must maintain the arduous fitness standard in accordance with department policy
