Our Armed Security Officers for a busy retail location conduct mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post supports day-to-day operations with professionalism and presence, while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule

  • DayTime: Tue 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Wed 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Fri 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and/or loading zones, as assigned.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity through visible presence and timely reporting.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or interactions, and communicate with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and response actions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
