Bathtub Repair Technician

About the role

Do you like working with your hands? Do you enjoy variety in your work? Surface Experts technician might be the job for you! No two jobs are the same and most repairs require creativity while only taking an hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop outstanding teams by investing in strong relationships
• Solve customers' problems by reducing the waste of time, money and materials which end up in landfills
• Repair damages to tubs that happen during or after installation
• Combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile
• Provide incredibly fast service, while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere in our support center and on jobsites
• Save customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill

Requirements

• Experience in the process of fabricating, installing or refinishing bathtubs
• Familiarity with the common tub building materials: fiberglass, gel coat, enameled steel and acrylic
• Attention to detail
• Organized
• Enjoy working with a team
• Ability to manage their own schedule
• Customer service experience
• Excellent work ethic
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, manufacturing or even a hobby
• Experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful, but not necessary
• Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. If you are color blind then this is not the job for you
• Experience working with tubs and showers, tile, countertops and cabinets is a plus
• The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment
