Bathroom Remodeling Apprentice

About the role

P.J. Fitzpatrick is a trusted home remodeling company specializing in roofing, windows, doors, siding, baths, and gutters. Responsible for assisting the Installer with bathroom remodels in customers’ homes. Follows guidelines set by the Installer while adhering to quality and safety standards, company policies, and procedures. Communicates directly with homeowners to ensure satisfaction and maintains site cleanliness and equipment organization.

Responsibilities

• Follow the installer’s directions to ensure proper installation and timely completion of bathroom remodels.
• Provide customer service directly to homeowners, offering solutions to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify house or bathroom specifications to determine work scope and review installation checklists to follow guidelines and processes.
• Clean up job sites and ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly in the vehicle for safety and compliance.
• Work toward Install certification under the guidance of the main Installer.
• Learn to stage jobs completely and load the van for the next day to prevent installation interruptions due to missing items.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to learn and retain production methods and company policies.
• Verbal, written, and mathematical skills equivalent to a high school graduate.
• Dependable and detail-oriented with solid carpentry skills and basic hand tool knowledge.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong attendance record.
• Safety-conscious and able to produce quality work.

Pay

$18 an hour plus the potential for a monthly incentive.
