Bath Portal Test - Tile Installation

About the role

Install floor and wall tile including layout planning, thin-set application, tile cutting and placement, grouting, and sealing. Includes shower surround tile, floor tile with proper slope to drain, and any accent or niche tile work.

Responsibilities

• Install cement backer board
• Apply waterproof membrane
• Plan tile layout with center lines
• Install floor tile with proper spacing
• Ensure floor slopes toward drain in shower
• Install wall tile
• Cut tile around penetrations
• Install edge trim
• Allow thin-set to cure
• Apply grout
• Apply grout sealer after cure
