Syrup Blender Role Overview

Makes syrup used in bottling process from concentrate.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Blends syrup.
• Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup.
• Builds recipes to specifications.
• Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
• Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory.
• Conducts associated lab duties.
• Follows all company rules and regulations.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year production or technical experience preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Good organizational skills required.
• An analytical thought process required.
• Good hand/eye coordination required.
• Ability to follow established procedures without deviation required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
• Ability to work in a team environment required.
• Ability to successfully complete forklift certification required.
• Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks required.
