Batching Operator

Job Summary

About the Role

Cumberland Dairy is seeking a Batching Operator to join their team. This position involves working closely with the processing team to prepare and deliver high-quality products for processing and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with QA personnel regarding correct ingredients and formulations prior to batching
• Coordinate the delivery of ingredients for batching
• Set up and batch all products according to formula while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure smooth operation of the facility

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Six months related experience and/or training required
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Pay

$24.00 - $30.80/hr

Schedule

2-2-3 Rotating Turn Schedule Night Shift Schedule: 6pm-6:30am
