Batcher I - O'Keeffe's - 1st Shift

Summary Description

On an everyday basis this position is responsible for proper set-up, weighing, blending and cleanup for the O’Keeffe’s cream equipment and laboratory area. It is important for this position to have basic computer skills and be familiar with Excel. It is important for this position to follow strict protocol.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Specific Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Safe laboratory practice knowledge and skills.
  • 6 months batching experience desired.
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel) preferred.
  • Time management skills are necessary.
  • Ability to learn pumping, pipe work and valves as necessary.
  • Able to wear PPE.
• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift (up to 55 pounds), pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see and use repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus. This position requires the use of PPE.
