Batch Plant Operator

About the role
The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment, operating the batch plant and placing concrete safely and accurately to maintain efficient and quality production.
Responsibilities
- Operates Mixer Machine and Batch Plant (Command Alkon)
- Uses overhead crane to pour concrete
- Notifies supervisor of non-conforming product or problems with machine, materials, etc.
- Communicates production issues with other employees and supervisors
- Reviews product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to ensure quality requirements are met
- Performs routine machine maintenance
- Understands and applies safe use and operation of equipment, communicating safety-related matters with other employees
- Performs other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis
Requirements
- Knowledge of concrete fundamentals (preferred)
- Concrete finishing experience (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience running a batch plant (preferred)
- Experience operating Command Alkon (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
