Batch Maker - Night Shift

About the Role

Axalta is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team on the night shift. This role is responsible for producing high-quality coating products by following batch formulas, handling raw materials, operating production equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule

• Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
• Occasional Friday shifts (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Manufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials
• Handle solvents, resins, pigments, and other production materials
• Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete batch records and production documentation
• Monitor product quality and follow standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or batch-making experience is preferred
• Ability to speak, read, and write English required
• Successful completion of a background check and physical examination
• Reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. and wear required PPE
