Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work from verbal instructions / blueprints / drawings and/or work orders.
- Setup equipment / prepare surfaces to be welded / weld parts.
- Must be able to use hand tools such as grinders, etc.
- Maintain inventory of parts used in area.
- Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
Additional Responsibilities
- May perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
- Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Must have prior MIG/TIG work experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate good welding ability with minimal training.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
- Rarely (0-12%): Occasionally (12-33%): Fingering/Grasping/Feeling
- Frequently (34-66%): Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling
- Regularly (67-100%): Seeing/Hearing/Standing/Walking/Lifting/Pulling/Pushing
