About the role

Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Base Camp Logistics staff to support the daily operations of Campus Recreation programs by assisting with challenge course activities, climbing wall operations, equipment rentals, and trip preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with challenge course programming, including activity setup, facilitation support, and participant supervision.
• Operate the climbing wall, conducting required safety inspections, properly belaying participants, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Manage rental center operations, including gear check-in and check-out.
• Support trip preparation, including organizing equipment and loading gear.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment across all activity areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Campus Recreation operations.

Requirements

• FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA required.

Pay

$14 per hour.

Schedule

Up to 8 hours per week. Monday - Saturday, 8am - 7pm.

This is a part-time position located in Boca Raton, FL.
