What are your contributions to the team?
- Supervise and motivate employees, train and develop team members as well as conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues.
- Train and develop team members.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day planning activities and a team of planners or analysts.
- Develop, implement, and monitor production, supply chain, or operational plans.
- Review forecasts, capacity, and resource constraints to create accurate and actionable plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and operations to align plans with organizational objectives.
- Maintain and improve planning systems, tools, processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
How to thrive in this role?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or a related field, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proficient in planning software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle, MS Project, or other planning tools).
- Proficient in Office365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) & PowerBI
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPIM, PMP, AICP).
- Experience with lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with forecasting tools or predictive analytics.
