BAS Installer Lead

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services is a leading provider of electrical contracting services in the Raleigh area. We specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems (BAS) for commercial and industrial clients. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of BAS installers in the installation and maintenance of building automation systems.
• Plan and organize daily tasks for the team, assign duties, and ensure that work is completed on time.
• Train and mentor new team members in proper installation techniques and procedures.
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Cook up coordination with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, technical training or certification in building automation systems is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of building automation systems.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Extensive knowledge of building automation systems and their components.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
