Job Details
The BAS Installer/Electrician (low voltage) will assist with installing conduit, pulling wire, mounting devices, and supporting lead installers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Responsible to support a Building Automation System (BAS) installation including, mounting of control components, conduit and wiring, and terminations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and is consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
- Pull wiring through conduit and label
- Ensure that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
- Locate, mount and terminate BAS end devices such as temperature sensors, relays and electronic actuators
- Prepares sketches showing as-built location of wiring and equipment
- Attends project meetings as necessary
Qualifications
- HS Diploma and or 2+ yrs of experience
- Mets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements and has the ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents and/or blueprints.
- Has access to reliable transportation- Drivers license
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
- Follow instruction, work without supervision, operate tools safely, maintain company assigned vehicle and understand the importance of OSHA safety regulations.
