Key Responsibilities
- Program and modify building automation systems using the Tridium Niagara framework and Honeywell platforms.
- Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols.
- Configure system databases and ensure proper controller communication.
- Perform onsite commissioning activities including point-to-point checkout, sequence verification, and functional performance testing.
- Validate system performance to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Diagnose and repair issues within HVAC control systems and BAS networks.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system diagnostics, and repairs on building automation equipment.
- Configure Niagara PX graphics, alarms, schedules, and trend logs.
- Support system monitoring and operational visibility for customers.
- Afford basic training to building operators and facility staff on system functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Tridium Niagara (AX or N4) and Honeywell BAS systems.
- Proficiency with Niagara Workbench and Honeywell DDC controllers.
- Experience integrating building automation systems with BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks networks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), and electrical knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex BAS controller and network issues.
Work Location and Travel
- Primary Work Location: Salisbury, Maryland branch.
- Service Territory: Eastern Shore of Maryland, including Easton, Ocean City, and surrounding areas.
- Travel Requirements: Daily travel to customer sites within the Eastern Shore region is required.
