Bartender - Whiskey Specialist - PT - Cascades at Stanley Hotel

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers
• Perform guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner
• Ring guest checks, collect cash, and process credits and room charges
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
• Ensure established pars are maintained
• Perform sidework duties according to sidework schedules

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Lifting capacity: 20 - 40 lbs.
• Pushing carts: 50 - 100 lbs.
• Continuous standing: 100% of the time scheduled
• Climbing approximately 12 steps: 20% of 8 hours
• Must be able to ruse records and handle special requests
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks at one time, follow verbal and written instruction in English, and communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations, particularly when handling multiple tasks
• Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations
• Able to accurately count cash and operate a cash register

Qualifications

• WSET and CWS preferred
• Education/Formal Training: Bartending training and certification, ABT Certified
• Experience: 6 months bartending
• Whiskey specialty knowledge

$12.14/hr plus tips
