Bartender/Server/Beverage Cart

Key Responsibilities

• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
• Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
• Auxiliary kitchen tasks such as setting up and preparing food items for all food outlets on the property
• Carefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
• Conduct a monthly food/supplies inventory under the guidance of the Chef/Kitchen Manager
• Use and maintain equipment safely and effectively
• Perform necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils
• Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
• Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
• Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
• Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques
• Practice tray service for all food and beverage service
• Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of serving experience and/or training
• At least 18 years of age to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position
