Key Responsibilities
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
- Auxiliary kitchen tasks such as setting up and preparing food items for all food outlets on the property
- Carefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
- Conduct a monthly food/supplies inventory under the guidance of the Chef/Kitchen Manager
- Use and maintain equipment safely and effectively
- Perform necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils
- Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas
- Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
- Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
- Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
- Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques
- Practice tray service for all food and beverage service
- Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year of serving experience and/or training
- At least 18 years of age to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position
