Bartender & Server

About the Role

The Phoenix @ Union Hill is looking for a Bartender/Server to join their team. This position involves both bartending and serving duties. Bartending shifts are typically 11am-7pm, while serving shifts may vary. On non-bartending shifts, the candidate will assist with serving.

Schedule

• Weekends, holidays, and evenings required
• Flexible hours to accommodate peak service times

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas
• Set up dining areas according to Phoenix Senior Living standards
• Deliver meal and dining services
• Clean dining rooms after service
• Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred but not required

• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Ability to multitask and manage stress
• Competent in time management and organizational skills
• Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
