Bartender - Restaurant (FT)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish a pleasant rapport with guests.
• Thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and their proper preparation, and ongoing knowledge of new drink trends.
• Responsible for mixing and serving beverages directly to bar patrons as well as in a service station capacity to beverage/food servers as venue requires.
• Accurate and efficient use of POS system.
• Tracks usage and inventory and orders stock to maintain established pars.
• Maintain awareness of guests alcohol intake following Alcohol Awareness Training
• Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all MD Department of Health standards.
• At end of shift restocks station for start of next shift.
• Maintain well-groomed appearance in accordance with Food & Beverage Grooming Standards at all times.
• Participate as a team member with all servers, Barback, bartenders and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Required to stand and walk.
• Is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain a Maryland Lottery License

Pay

Starting Salary: $8.00 per hour
