Bartender ( PT) - Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia

About the Role

A Live! Bartender is responsible for greeting guests and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous beverage service while displaying an energetic, fun, and outgoing personality. You will prepare and serve beverages to both guests and cocktail servers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for guests and cocktail servers to provide exceptional guest service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
• Input and control orders through the register during each transaction, maintaining accountability and providing receipts to guests for all beverages served.
• Handle all bank and cash procedures, adhering to variance policies.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest and work areas, including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
• Abide by all state, federal, and company liquor regulations, including responsible service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations, including PLCB regulations.
• Adhere to company and department-specific appearance standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work experience in a beverage/bar environment.
• Must be RAMP certified.
• Must be able to work in smoke-filled environments.
• Must be able to work with and understand financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Thorough knowledge of the approved Responsible Gaming Program.
• Full working knowledge of POS systems.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms.
• Work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Use of stairs (31 steps) multiple times per day and elevators.
