About the role

The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a personable, professional, and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus, providing service as described.
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures, including state/federal regulations pertaining to alcohol distribution.
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits to suggestively upsell products to guests.
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
- Check guest IDs to verify the minimum age requirement for purchasing alcoholic beverages.
- Communicate cut-off to guests as required and de-escalate intoxicated guest situations.
- Contact management or security if a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity.
- Request additional products or restock as needed and maintain the issued bank at the bar.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well-maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization.
Requirements
- Six months or more of bartending experience.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Bartending school preferred.
- Accurate cash handling skills required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
- ServSafe certification preferred.

Pay
Hourly rate of $10.00–$14.00, plus tips.
