Bartender (Part-Time)
About the role
Join our F&B team as a Bartender at Thompson Dallas, a luxury hotel located within The National, Dallas’ newest urban luxury mixed-use project. The hotel features 219 rooms with 52 suites, three full-service dining and drink offerings, a boutique spa and fitness experience, and a variety of event spaces, including the 14,000 square foot National Ballroom. Thompson Dallas is part of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation portfolio and is known for its stunning mid-century modern hexagon design.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. Preferred candidates will have an understanding of state and local serving guidelines to create a transformational, intimate guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails with deep knowledge of mixology.
- Maintain an attractive and well-organized bar area.
- Adhere to state and local serving guidelines and sanitation standards.
- Provide exceptional guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Demonstrate physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
Qualifications
- Upscale beverage programming experience preferred.
- Deep cocktail knowledge beyond the basics, including curation of complex cocktails.
- Availability for AM, PM, and weekend shifts.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
