Bartender (part-time)

Mission Of The Role

The Bartender is responsible for prompt, courteous service to bar and lobby guests by serving food and drinks, and cleanliness of the area.

Essential Job Functions

• Take, mix and serve drink orders.
• Interact with guests and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
• Record all sales using the appropriate register and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cash bank, guest checks and process all guest payments according to established procedures.
• Completes open, close and side duties including: cleaning tables, stocking supplies, wash and stock glassware, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Follow all safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
• Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to carry trays and move items weighing up to 30 pounds
• Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws
• Knowledge of all drink types
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the duration of a shift
