Bartender (Part-Time)
About the role
Jacksons Restaurant + Bar, located adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Area Beaver Valley in Monaca, is seeking an experienced part-time Bartender to join their team. The Bartender will create handcrafted beverages while delivering exceptional guest service in the bar area.
Responsibilities
- Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on standard recipes or customer preferences, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking drink orders, and engaging in friendly interactions; address inquiries and make recommendations.
- Process drink orders accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash transactions, and provide change as needed.
- Monitor beverage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure the bar is well-stocked with ingredients, garnishes, and other necessary items.
- Develop and recommend signature cocktails or drink specials to enhance the menu and attract customers.
- Maintain knowledge of beverages, including wines, beers, and spirits, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages, following responsible beverage service guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and available for all shifts.
- Strong sales skills and outstanding people skills.
- Trustworthy, results-driven, and knowledgeable about beer, wine, and spirits.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
