BARTENDER (PART TIME)
About the role
Culinaire is seeking part-time BARTENDER positions at our location at Tobin Center - 115 Auditorium Circle, San Antonio, TX 78205. Online applications are accepted only. Shifts may vary and more details will be provided during the interview process. A minimum of two years of bartending experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Sets up assigned bars, requisitions, and stocks necessary supplies including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures, and stores perishable items like fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner and takes or processes orders for drinks, mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks according to standard recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
- Checks guests for proper identification and detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained.
- Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws and receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
- Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops; secures bank.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards and keeps work area clean and organized.
- Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area and washes and sterilizes stemware.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least two years of bartending experience is required.
Skills

Pay
Fixed Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour.
