Bartender On call

Greetings and Orders

• Greet guests immediately.
• Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.

Guest Interaction

• Inspects guest identification to ensure legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Resolves guest complaints.

Alcohol Awareness

• Monitors guest alcohol consumption.
• Acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of related experience preferred.
• Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.
• Able to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical And Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk or hear;
• Stand;
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
• Reach with hands and arms;
• Frequently required to walk;
• S stoop, kneel or crouch;
• Able to count;
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds;
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions;
• Able to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
