Bartender (on-call)

About the role

Hotel Kabuki is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team at Haibu, our vibrant bar and lounge located in the heart of San Francisco's historic Japantown. As part of the JDV by Hyatt collection, Hotel Kabuki celebrates individuality, authentic connections, and the unique culture of our neighborhood. At Haibu, we craft exceptional cocktails, showcase local flavors, and create memorable experiences for hotel guests and the local community alike.

Responsibilities

• Provide libations and offer customized recommendations
• Maintain an attractive bar
• Engage in casual conversation and build on one's style and previous bartending experiences

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Understanding of state and local serving guidelines (preferred)
• Familiarity with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards

Pay

This is an on-call position with an hourly rate of $27.56.
