About the Role

This position involves setting up and operating bars, preparing simple alcoholic beverages, managing stock levels, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The role also includes handling sales, making change, and addressing unruly or intoxicated patrons in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Set up bars for operation, obtain cash bank, and stock service bar.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and organize storeroom/work area for easy access.
  • Prepare a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
  • Record sales, make change, or prepare charge slips.
  • Keep bar and work area clean and sanitary.
  • Identify unruly or intoxicated persons, resolve issues, or seek assistance per established procedures.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactory completion of an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Pre-employment background checks, including a medical examination, per AR 215-3, 2-15j(1).
  • Completion of a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card (CAC) for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (www.sss.gov).
  • Position, duty hours, location, and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
  • Completion of a minimum of 4 hours of initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment, with 4 hours of refresher training annually.

Qualifications

  • Meet state/local age requirements for serving alcohol at the time of appointment.
  • Able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
  • Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
  • Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
