Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes drink and food order; provides information about menu items and looks for opportunity for additional sales.
• Mixes beverages accurately according to recipes and directions.
• Processes transactions through the POS system.
• Responds appropriately to customer concerns.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests.
• Safeguards the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area.
• Invents and restocks necessary beverages and supplies as needed.
• Maintains guest loyalty and enhances selling skills using available training materials.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including food safety guidelines.
• Works various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
• Communicates effectively and prioritizes tasks to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
• Adapts to changing priorities and unexpected situations.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year experience bartending required.
• Knowledge of math for cost calculation, making change, and cash handling.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and with others.
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment in customer interactions.
• Customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures.
