Bartender - HRC Biloxi

About the role

The Bartender is the first point of service for guests before they reach their tables, playing a crucial role in delivering a positive experience. As a Hard Rock Cafe bartender, you will act as a tour guide, communicator, showman, decision-maker, memorabilia curator, and musician (at heart).

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks according to specified recipes.
• Demonstrate responsible alcohol service.
• Serve food to guests.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment.
• Process sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Check IDs for guests who appear under 30 years old.
• Maintain proper cash drawer balances.
• Direct guests to areas and restrooms.
• Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Maintain proper product pars through bar pulls and inventories.
• Stock liquor, beer, wine, and glassware throughout the shift.
• Properly label, date, cover, and refrigerate prepped items for the bar.
• Maintain a proper 3-compartment sink, sanitizing equipment, utensils, and glassware.
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar, cleaning glass and countertops, and sweeping the floor.
• Answer guest questions accurately and politely.
• Create memorable experiences and "Raving fans" by entertaining guests.
