Bartender - Champagne Porch

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and fun-loving individual to join our team at Champagne Porch. Our bartenders play a crucial role in delivering memorable experiences, delicious food, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Puts fruit and other garnishes ready before the bar opens.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Attracts glasses and liquor bottles.
• Keeps the bar stocked with snacks.
• Verifies customers' ages by checking their photo IDs.
• Collects payment for drinks prepared and served.
• Submits orders or creates requisition forms for bar-related supplies.
• Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.
• Uses cash register software used by the bar or restaurant.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training required.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
• Must be legal drinking age or older.
