Bartender

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages
• Oversees bar maintenance
• Makes menu suggestions
• Delivers food and drinks
• Describes the dishes to guests
• Recommends wine selections
• Maintains guest satisfaction
• Manages inventory

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of fine dining mixology experience
• Knowledge of service and food and beverage
• Cleanliness, organization, and teamwork skills
• Extensive Food and Wine knowledge
• Minimum age to serve alcohol
• High school or equivalent education
• Strong dedication to learning and progress
• Excellent basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft-based computer systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and strong financial acumen
• Impeccably groomed appearance and good hygiene
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push/pull up to 250 lbs.
• Physical abilities to stand for at least 8 hours, maneuver in limited space, and reach other departments on a timely basis

Physical Requirements

• Most work tasks performed indoors
• Temperature controlled by restaurant environmental systems
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers and kitchens
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
• Continuous talking and hearing during communication with guests, supervisors, and subordinates
• Continuous vision with near vision and depth perception
• Requires bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, and reaching
