Bartender
About the role
The Lytle Park Hotel is a unique property within the Pyramid Hotel Group, Autograph Collection. It seeks to redefine hospitality by blending classic elements with modern amenities.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
- Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
- Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests
- Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
- Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Aid guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
- Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
- Requisition and stock of all beer, wine, spirits
- Maintain stock, cut, and store of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
- Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
- Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
Requirements
Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality, current bartenders' certification or appropriate license, knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology, descriptive and able to sell, 2-4 years of bartender experience, knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests. Excellent communication skills are also required.

Benefits
Compensation starts at $8.00 plus tips and increases to $10.00 plus tips depending on performance and qualifications.
