About the role
Bartenders play a critical role in creating memorable guest experiences and driving the energy of our concepts. They are responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction, and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards. In a fast-paced airport environment, bartenders do more than mix drinks — they set up the tone, build connections, manage high-volume service with precision, and represent the OTG brand with every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, memorable hospitality with every interaction—because great service is our signature, following OTG steps of service and standard operating procedures.
- Guide guests through our menu with enthusiasm, highlighting items, making thoughtful suggestions, and supporting guests with dietary needs or allergies.
- Anticipate guest needs before they have to ask.
- Work closely with your team to keep the dining floor running smoothly; communication is everything.
- Handle orders, payments, and special requests with accuracy and a positive attitude, adhering to OTG cash handling and register policies.
- Create an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, cared for, and excited to come back.
- Stay calm when things get busy in a high-volume atmosphere.
- Prepare drinks following OTG recipes and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
- Support with moving and installing kegs of beer, CO2 tanks, and soda guns.
- Communicate with Chefs and Managers to ensure food is delivered to guests in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations and ensure the bar areas are clean.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Inform leadership team of low inventory and equipment issues.
- Notify the Manager on Duty (MOD) of guest feedback or concerns, and report signs of intoxication to the MOD.
- Complete additional tasks requested by the OTG leadership team.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences.
- 1-2 years of prior Bartending experience + ability to prepare cocktails and perform full bartending duties.
- Great grasp of restaurant and beverage steps of service.
- Familiarity with basic beer, liquor, and wine.
- Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent + fully conversational in English.
- Must become TIPS certified within 90 days of employment + obtain ServeSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stay active throughout your shift, including moving, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Open availability is a must; schedules may vary and include early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and weather-impacted days.
- Must meet local age requirements for serving alcohol where applicable.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Pay
$7.50 per hour + tips
