About the role

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Highgate’s standards.
• Oversee the financial performance of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel and its offerings.
• Work with the sales team to secure new business and maintain existing relationships.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the hotel’s operations and services.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel management or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Hotel Management Certification (HMC) or equivalent.
• Experience with revenue management systems.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
