Responsibilities
- Arrive at work on time, fully dressed, clean, and prepared with all of the proper work cards, credentials and uniform.
- Prepare the restaurant for daily service and alerting management of any maintenance issues or missing product.
- Passionately inform guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors.
- Perform all opening, closing and side duties required of a food server position.
- Greet guests using the 10’/5’ rule and engaging guests in cheerful, genuine conversation.
- Deliver the proper steps of service in the correct sequence.
- Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal. Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal giving correct change; accounts for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
- Prepare all food and drink to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines and guest specifications.
- Understand and execute artisanal coffee beverage program.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant before, during, and after the shift.
- Maintain appropriate level of stock items in area alerting the manager of any missing or limited product, including but not limited to, food, supply, and retail.
- Keep designated working area clean and organized.
- Engage with guests professionally and genuinely by maintaining a cheerful conversation and delivering the service that is required of them.
- Depart the restaurant on time and having completed all the designated functions for the day.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid SNHD health card.
- Common knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred.
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance.
- Work requires professional interactions with customers, co-workers and management.
- Work requires professional teamwork with other co-workers.
