About the role

Barrio Portsmouth is seeking immediate openings for a Host/Hostess position. Hours are Monday-Thursday: 11am-12pm and Friday-Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and assisting with table assignments
• Managing reservations and seating arrangements
• Handling payments and providing change
• Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
