Barre3 Portland - Group Fitness Instructor
About the role
The barre3 Portland Instructor plays a pivotal role in shaping the studio experience. You'll lead barre3 classes, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. Your responsibilities include teaching a minimum of 4 barre3 classes per week, with opportunities to teach weekends. You'll also build strong relationships with clients and the barre3 Portland team.
Responsibilities
- Teach a minimum of 4 barre3 classes per week, plus weekend options
- Build strong relationships with barre3 clients before, during, and after class
- Create a warm and supportive studio environment
- Communicate the barre3 brand and core values through thoughtful cueing
- Attend quarterly meetings/workshops and specific campaign meetings/training sessions
Requirements
- All applicants must complete an audition to be invited to new instructor training
- Evaluate leadership qualities, strong body awareness, and musicality
- Pass the audition to join the barre3 New Instructor Training Program
- Midday and/or evening availability strongly preferred
Qualifications
No previous experience in fitness is required. Barre3 Portland will provide all necessary educational materials and training.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to build relationships, and a passion for barre3’s mission and values.
