About the Role
The Barista is responsible for assisting customers during the check-out process, managing cash and credit payments, and educating customers while selling and grinding coffee. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages and items, replenish snacks and coolers, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace. We seek Barista candidates with creative and exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting and thanking customers
- Operate point-of-sale system; process payments via cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
- Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Replenish snacks and stock coolers as needed
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout and coffee kiosk areas; complete general cleaning duties
- Assist customers by providing information and answering questions
- Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cash handling experience
- Previous experience in a food service or Barista environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Dependable and reliable

Pay
$20.00 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit.
