Compensation

• Base pay is $17.00 per hour.
• In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour.
• Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day.
• Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion.
• Average tips reflect 2025 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Keep our spaces clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammates
• Produces proper drink and food items to standard recipe specifications
• Stock all necessary ingredients in accordance with each station's needs
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and areas

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays and at least 22 hours worked each week
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
